As we expand our use of AI agents to automate internal and customer-facing workflows, we're hiring a Business Analyst who can evaluate a business problem, recommend the right in-house AI tool or platform to solve it, and as necessary, partner directly with our engineering teams to help build it.

You will sit between business stakeholders, our internal AI tooling landscape, and our development team, owning the front end of the AI agent lifecycle: understanding the workflow, recommending or configuring the right tool, and acting as the business-side co-owner alongside engineering.

About the Role
This is a hybrid advisory-and-builder Business Analyst role. You will sit between business stakeholders, our internal AI tooling landscape, and our development team, owning the front end of the AI agent lifecycle: understanding the workflow, recommending or configuring the right tool, and acting as the business-side co-owner alongside engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with managers across Regulatory Solutions, Enterprise Solutions, Enterprise Sales and Customer Experience to identify workflows suited for AI agent automation, and document current-state processes, pain points, and requirements.
- Evaluate business workflow challenges and recommend the most appropriate in-house, approved AI tool or platform to solve each one — weighing no-code/low-code configuration (e.g. Claude/ChatGPT custom agents) against solutions that require custom development.
- Independently design, configure, test, and deploy AI agents and automated workflows using no-code/low-code platforms where that's the right-fit solution, without requiring a developer for every build.
- Serve as the primary business-side liaison to the Product Development Team for AI agentic initiatives that exceed no-code capability — translating business requirements into user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria developers can build against.
- Work alongside the product/dev team throughout design, build, and testing of custom AI agentic solutions — providing business context, use cases, and edge cases, and validating outputs through UAT.
- Configure data connections between AI agents and existing business systems (CRM, ERP, ticketing, SharePoint/Drive, databases) using native or low-code integrations for self-service builds, and provide requirements/data mapping to engineering for custom integrations.
- Test agent outputs for accuracy, consistency, and reliability; build lightweight monitoring and feedback loops to track performance, adoption, and ROI, for both self-built and engineering-built solutions.
- Produce clear documentation (process maps, SOPs, agent logic diagrams, requirements docs) so business teams and engineering share a common understanding of how each agent works.
- Train and support end users on interacting with, trusting, and giving feedback on AI agents.
- Maintain and prioritize a backlog of AI agent automation opportunities in partnership with business unit leaders and the Product/Engineering team, and track the results of live agents against expected outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Process Analyst, or similar role, including experience evaluating tools/software and configuring workflows or automations.
- Demonstrated ability to assess a business problem and recommend the right tool or approach to solve it — including build-vs-buy and no-code-vs-custom-development judgment calls.
- Hands-on experience building or configuring AI agents, chatbots, or workflow automations on at least one no-code/low-code platform (e.g., Claude Projects, or custom GPTs).
- Solid understanding of prompt design and agentic AI concepts (agents, tools, orchestration, RAG) sufficient to evaluate tools and communicate requirements to developers, even without writing production code.
- Proven ability to gather, document, and translate business requirements into functional specifications and working solutions, both independently and in collaboration with a technical team.
- Experience mapping data and integrating systems via APIs, connectors, or native integrations.
- Strong process-mapping and analytical skills (e.g. flowcharts, SOPs, current/future-state documentation).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between business stakeholders, leadership, and engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in food safety, food/beverage regulatory compliance, quality assurance, or a related regulated industry.
- Basic SQL or data-querying skills (helpful for validating agent outputs and discussing data needs with engineering).
- Hands-on exposure to large language model platforms (Claude, ChatGPT/OpenAI, Gemini) and their practical business applications.
- Prior experience conducting AI/software tool evaluations or vendor assessments for an organization.
- Process improvement or business analysis certification (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, CBAP, PMI-PBA).
- Experience building internal knowledge-base or retrieval-augmented-generation (RAG) style agents using pre-built connectors.
