This role blends technical SEO, content collaboration, and structured data with GEO practices that help the FoodChain ID website be accurately retrieved, cited and summarized by generative systems. The Coordinator will manage day-to-day optimization work, collaborate closely with the marketing team, and deliver clear performance reporting under the direction of the Website Innovation Manager.

Key Responsibilities
SEO & GEO Execution
- Execute the organic growth roadmap across SEO and GEO channels aligned to business goals (conversions and pipeline influence).
- Perform keyword, tag and topic research; contribute to roadmap planning and translate insights into executable work.
- Optimize priority pages for engagement and conversion, including titles, metadata, headers, internal linking, and content structure.
- Implement GEO best practices to improve discoverability and accuracy in AI-assisted experiences:
- Create answer-first sections, concise definitions, and clear page structure for retrieval and summarization.
- Improve clarity and consistency across the website to reduce ambiguity in model outputs.
- Run regular technical audits (crawlability, indexation, internal linking, canonicalization, Core Web Vitals, redirects, and sitemap/robots hygiene).
- Maintain structured data (Schema.org) and ensure consistent metadata standards.
- Recommend improvements to optimize page speed loading.
- Optimize the website according to the prospect buying journey.
- Propose ideas for organizing and maintaining the sitemap.
- Understand FoodChain ID services to identify opportunities for keyword positioning or better visitor understanding. E.g.: snippets, FAQs, How-to guides, creation of online calculators, creation of online databases, etc.
- Create and maintain SEO content briefs with input from product marketing that incorporate search intent, topical coverage, and entity targeting.
- Collaborate with product marketing to refresh and optimize existing content, improving relevance and performance.
- Support development of topic clusters and hub pages to strengthen topical authority and user journeys.

- With direction from the Website Innovation Manager, maintain daily monitoring of SEO KPIs (visibility on Search Console, indexing status of pages)
- Maintain dashboards and recurring reporting that explain drivers of performance and prioritize next actions.
- Monitor search landscape and platform changes (e.g., major algorithm updates, AI feature shifts) and recommend tactical adjustments.
- Create monthly reports to provide recommendations to content teams on opportunities for optimization or correction of temporary visibility loss issues
- Analyze competitor websites and recommend FoodChain ID website improvements to the Website Innovation Manager.
- Support link and citation acquisition efforts by identifying opportunities for partnerships, mentions, and content-led outreach in coordination with the Corporate Marketing Director and Growth Marketing Director.
- Develop a backlink strategy.
- 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience with demonstrated and measurable results (technical and/or content performance).
- Working knowledge of technical SEO fundamentals: crawling/indexation, site architecture, redirects, canonicalization, sitemaps, and Core Web Vitals.
- Familiarity with structured data strategies and entity-based SEO
- Technical skills: PHP/HTML/JS - WordPress environment (creation of plugins, maintenance)
- Experience developing SEO briefs and optimizing content for search intent and performance.
- Proficiency with common SEO tools (Google Search Console, GA4, Semrush, Screaming Frog, Looker Studio or equivalent).
- Exposure to GEO concepts or optimization for AI-driven discovery (AI Overviews, chat-based search, LLM-driven experiences).
- Excellent English language skills (written and verbal), with the ability to produce clear briefs and recommend website copy.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities across multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
