Role Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven performer to identify and pursue high-value opportunities, build strategic client relationships, and accelerate FoodChain ID's growth in certification and compliance services across the food & agriculture sector in India.

Key Responsibilities:
a) Prospect, cold call, and convert leads into new business across assigned markets while building and maintaining a robust pipeline through active networking and market outreach
b) Promote FoodChain ID’s certification, compliance, and traceability solutions to food manufacturers, exporters, and agribusinesses
c) Identify key decision makers, engage them with compelling and tailored pitches, and participate in solution pricing and negotiations to close deals effectively
d) Deepen existing client relationships by presenting new and value-added services to generate revenue.
e) Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client delivery and satisfaction, and participate in regular client debriefs
f) Represent FoodChain ID at industry events and conferences, leveraging market and competitor intelligence to sharpen the company's unique selling propositions
g) Partner with senior management to evaluate market trends and identify opportunities that drive sustainable revenue growth.
h) Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets, with a focus on certification and compliance services.

Qualifications & Experience
• 4–5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in food & beverage, agribusiness, or food safety/quality
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; a degree in Food Technology or Agriculture is an added advantage
• Self-motivated and target-driven professional with strong negotiation, communication, and client management skills, adept at independently owning and growing a sales pipeline
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate technical certification requirements into business value for clients
• Willing to travel across India for client meetings and industry events
