Our company, one of the most recognized certification bodies in Greece, is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Agronomist to join our team as a Senior Officer – Organic Production Assessor.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the certification process, contributing to the planning, supervision, and evaluation of inspections and compliance assessments.

Our company, one of the most recognized certification bodies in Greece, is seeking an experienced and highly qualified Agronomist to join our team as a Senior Officer – Organic Production Assessor.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the certification process, contributing to the planning, supervision, and evaluation of inspections and compliance assessments.
- Conduct complex inspections of organic production units
- Evaluate and document compliance with Regulation (EU) 2018/848 and relevant implementing acts
- Review and assess technical files of operators, preparing certification recommendations
- Perform internal quality control of inspection procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (ISO 17065)
- Provide training and mentoring to junior inspectors
- Offer technical support and expert advice on organic agriculture and plant protection issues
- Degree in Agronomy from an accredited university
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in roles related to organic farming, inspections, or certification systems
- Proven experience in conducting inspections in accordance with EU organic production regulations
- Excellent knowledge of the regulatory framework for organic agriculture, traceability, and quality assurance systems
- Certified competence as an inspector/auditor (ISO 19011 or equivalent training)
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to evaluate complex technical documentation
- Excellent command of English (C1 level or higher) and proficiency in digital tools and information systems
- Availability for frequent travel within Greece
- Postgraduate studies in organic farming, food quality, or environmental management
- Experience in managing inspection teams or coordinating certification projects
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 22000 systems
- Scientific activity (publications, participation in R&D projects, or technical committees)
