Are you passionate about the safety and sustainability of food packaging? For the expansion of our team in the Netherlands, we are looking for a Functional Application Manager to play a key role in improving our software and to help our customers get the most value out of it.
About the role:
We’re looking for a Functional Application Manager to be the key link between our users, internal Subject Matter Experts, and the IT development team. In this role, you’ll make sure our software aligns with the product strategy, customer needs are heard, delivers seamless user experience and new features are developed with clarity and purpose. You’ll combine analytical and communication skills to turn feedback into meaningful improvements.

What You'll Do:
- Work closely with the Product Owner and IT team to support new features and product improvements in the software.
- Act as the first point of contact for users and provide first-line support.
- Collect and translate customer feedback into actionable user stories.
- Test new features and updates to ensure quality and functionality before release.
- Ensure effective communication between users and technical teams.
- Help improve the overall user experience and product quality.
- An analytical mindset with attention to details and process optimization.
- A background in business applications, information systems, and software support.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to connect with both technical and non-technical people.
- Experience with requirement gathering, functional analysis or software testing.
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset.
