Job Title: Software Engineer II

Summary

We are looking for a motivated developer with solid React experience and basic SQL skills to build and maintain internal tools using Retool. This role requires someone who can work independently, solve problems effectively, and communicate clearly in English.

Key Responsibilities:  

•    Develop and maintain internal applications using Retool and React.
•    Write and optimize basic SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures.
•    Perform simple data extraction and analysis from relational databases.
•    Collaborate with product and technical stakeholders to understand requirements.
•    Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
•    Deliver features with minimal supervision and manage tasks independently.
•    Maintain clean, readable, and maintainable code.

Required Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
•    Solid experience with React (components, hooks, state management).
•    Basic to intermediate knowledge of SQL databases:
o    Writing queries (SELECT, JOIN, WHERE, GROUP BY)
o    Creating simple functions and procedures
o    Performing data extraction
•    Ability to work independently with limited assistance.
•    Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
•    Self-motivated, proactive, and accountable.
•    Proficient English communication skills (written and verbal).
 
Preferred Qualifications:

•    Previous experience with Retool or other low-code/internal tools platforms.
•    Experience working with APIs (REST).
•    Familiarity with Git and basic development workflows.
•    Experience working with internal business tools or dashboards.
