Job Description – Account Executive (Southeast Asia)
Position Overview
The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for expanding FoodChain ID’s market presence and driving new business opportunities across Southeast Asia, particularly in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, and Myanmar. The AE will develop and manage customer relationships, identify and close new certification and testing projects, and collaborate closely with regional teams (Bioagricert, Decernis, Testing, and Consulting units) to provide integrated solutions that ensure compliance, transparency, and sustainability in the food industry.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
• Lead the full sales cycle from lead generation, qualification, proposal, negotiation, to closure.
• Promote FoodChain ID Certification & Testing Services, including Organic, Food Safety, and Sustainability Programs.
• Identify opportunities in Consulting, Digital Compliance, and Training Services.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline through CRM (Salesforce).
• Achieve assigned revenue targets and growth objectives within the assigned region.
2. Client Engagement & Relationship Management
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with manufacturers, exporters, traders, and food brands.
• Partner with clients to identify compliance gaps and provide tailored FoodChain ID solutions.
• Support customer onboarding in collaboration with Project Management and Technical Teams.
3. Market & Partner Development
• Work with regional partners and subcontractors to expand FoodChain ID’s certification coverage.
• Coordinate with Bioagricert and local auditors for organic certification delivery.
• Represent FoodChain ID at trade fairs, government meetings, and key industry events.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
• Coordinate with Testing, Digital Solutions, and Consulting Teams to develop bundled proposals.
• Share Voice of Customer (VOC) and market insights to guide product and strategy improvements.
• Support business forecasting, reporting, and marketing activities.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Agriculture, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in food certification, testing, consulting, or regulatory services.
• Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle and achieve/exceed revenue targets.
• Familiarity with food certification programs (BRCGS, FSSC, Organic, Non-GMO, Sustainability).
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred).
• Fluent in English and Thai (additional regional language is a plus).
• Willing to travel across Southeast Asia (25–50%).
• 3+ years of B2B sales experience in food certification, testing, consulting, or regulatory services.
