Summary
In FoodChain ID’s mission is to make the food supply chain safe and transparent, and the
company works with global brands. We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Account
Manager (AM) to join our team.
As an AM, you will manage growth within your assigned accounts, develop and execute sales
strategies, and drive business growth with new clients. You must navigate B2B sales cycles,
negotiate contracts, and develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders. In addition, we
require expertise in our FCID products to ensure our customers are presented with a
service/product suite that can help solve their problems. In this role, you will work with Food
and Beverage companies, helping them achieve positive business results with Food Safety
Certification services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales plans to meet revenue targets and pursue additional
revenue and business objectives for assigned Regional and Specialist accounts.
- Ensure that customer needs are met by collaborating with internal teams to deliver
customized solutions that meet customer expectations.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their business needs
and provide tailored solutions.
- Create account plans aligning value proposition across FCID with the client’s business
strategy.
- Understand and translate customer needs and business drivers into creating new
opportunities.
- Work closely with cross-functional leaders such as Product, Marketing, Sales, Support,
and the Executive sponsor to manage the customer strategically.
- Successfully negotiate and close business deals, including significant direct customer-
facing negotiations.
- Identify new opportunities for Food Safety Certification with accounts that do not
currently utilize FoodChain ID for this service.
- Manage pipeline to guarantee forecast, linearity, and predictability new revenue.
- Work closely with internal subject experts to assess the viability of solutions.
- Record all communication and plans in Salesforce.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- 3 Years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in Regional and
Specialist account management.
- Proven history of closing complex deals $50k+.
- Experience in selling Certification services
- Relevant experience in selling solutions to Food and Beverage.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, including lead generation, qualification, and
closing.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Strong presentation & negotiation skills.
- Able to discuss solutions that align with each Customer’s needs and how FCID can
support their goals.
- Excellent written and spoken English, outstanding communication, interpersonal
skills, and the natural ability to collaborate and navigate inside companies.
