About the role of National Sales Manager
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the success of all sales and marketing strategies. This candidate will be knowledgeable about the market and our competitive advantages in order to best recommend new sales strategies for success.
Responsibilities
- Develop & implement effective sales strategies.
- Establish productive & professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Negotiate & close agreements with large customers
- Monitor, analyse performance metrics & suggest improvements
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual sales forecasts
- Perform research &identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
- Provide timely & effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
- Liaise with Marketing, Operations and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
- Stay up to date with new services and ensure relevant team members are on board
- Extensive travel as necessary
Skillsets:
- Fluency in English,
- Extensive CRM experience
- Excellent MS office operating skills
- Extensive knowledge on feed and food sector, organic/food safety certification
- Analytical skills
- Demonstratable achievement against Quota
- Hunting for new clients.
Qualifications
- Post-graduation in Agriculture/Science
- Min 10 years in sales function, out of which min 5 years in TIC sector
- Reporting to Regional Commercial Director, UK
